The funds will be allocated by community volunteers to the partner agencies who work diligently to serve our hurting, needy neighbors right here at home. United Way continues to be the best way to help the most people.

     The President's Council is a unique opportunity for contributors to rise above ordinary levels of giving to meet the difficult challenges facing our communities. It is an association of dreamers - dreamers who believe that “impossible” simply means that it hasn’t yet been done. It is an association of leaders - those who have the courage and independence to place themselves in the vanguard of caring. It is an association of the discontented - discontent that hundreds of local people have no place to call home, discontent that thousands of our citizens of all ages are battling drug and alcohol abuse, discontent that thousands of McMinn and Meigs County residents live at or below poverty level. It is an association for those who dare to challenge the status quo. With annual gifts of $500 or more, President's Council members are leading the way as United Way seeks to unite people and resources in building stronger and healthier communities.
