Our Impact

  • The Athens-McMinn Family YMCA provided 450 youth program scholarships so that youth can attend after-school care, summer day camp, and take swim lessons.
  • The Boys & Girls Club in Meigs County served 286 students in after-school and summer camps.
  • McMinn County Juvenile Services had 1,525 high-risk students in their drug prevention program and Summer Academy.
  • The Good Faith Clinic treated 649 individuals who are uninsured or unable to get health insurance.
  • Volunteer Behavorial Health was able to provide 60 clients with same-day medical access and medication payments.
  • The McMinn County and Etowah Senior Centers served over 50,000 meals for Seniors
  • The McMinn County Rescue Squad and Etowah Rescue Squad were able to keep their equipment updated and train their volunteers.  
  • The McMinn County Education Foundation was able to provide over 2,600 books through the Imagination Library to children birth to 5 years old, provide teacher grants to teachers in Athens City, McMinn County and Etowah City schools and provide supplies and tests for the Adult Education program.  
  • Helping Hands Ministry helped over 56 low-income families with home repairs so they can safely stay in their homes.
  • Coordinated Charities served 6,355 clients with food, rent and utility assistance to help mitigate further financial stress.  
  • The Tri-County Center was able to purchase 3 vans to transport their adult clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to work.
